Work Experience begins & ends, already?!

Sorry to my fellow bloggers that my blogs have become less and less but my time is so consumed with Sound of Music right now!
But back to the meaning of this post: WORK EXPERIENCE *love heart*

So I've successfully finished my first week of Work Experience in a primary school. It's the school I use to go to so it was great to see some familiar faces on Monday morning (and even better, to be remembered by the teachers!)
It's so sad to think it's all over, I  miss Junior Infants so much. Room.3 has become like a second home to be *tear flick*.
Here's a short re-cap of my week days:
Monday I woke up super excited and met with Eimear, who is doing work experience in the same school as me. We met our supervisor, Ms.Farrell, and she showed us around the school.
Eimear and I then went to different Junior Infant classes. Afterwards with helped out with various jobs like setting up the hall for a mass.
Tuesday  Wednesday and Thursday was much the same and yet so different and not in the slightest boring.
Friday we helped set up for a science exhibition and talked to all the students about their projects which were amazing! I spent time with my Junior infants of course, who, after a week I really loved more than anything.
Leaving Aghards on Friday afternoon was surprisingly hard with the kids telling me 'They'd miss me more than Christmas!' My heart broke!

I learnt allot this week, like despite what people say I'm very patient. Also I really enjoy the hands on classroom work better than any office work. Thinking back on the week makes me want to teach when I'm older. Although there's so much more I'd like to do with my life teaching has become a huge contender thanks to my week at Aghards.
For anyone thinking of places for work experience, I'd really advice a primary school if you have even a small interest in teaching because you learn so much about yourself and hopefully will enjoy it as much as I did!
