Scientists are born!

This year we're entering the Young Scientist Exhibition. We broken up into groups of two or three and we have to think of an idea which is somewhat scientific. There's a huge range of projects from 'Onions tears', 'do shampoo companies fool you?' and 'scrucbs v.s suckers!'
Aoibheann, Rachel and I have called our project 'Could this be a Cool Current?'. We're showing that fresh water is denser than salt water which is shown in the melting icebergs and the North Atlantic Drift. It sounds complicated at first but once we talked it through (a few times) we really found it interesting and decided it was the project for us :)
Now we have to write a one proposal about our project which will hopefully get us into the Young Scientist to show everyone what we're researching... and get a day or two off school.

Heres a link if you want to get involved or see what the Young Scientist is all about! http://www.btyoungscientist.ie/
